RAD Tools
Size: 1,477 kb
Date: 03/27/2005
Download: RADTools.zip
This program allows you to view .smk animations and also to convert them to video or extract the frames to picture files. SMK files are the format that Blizzard used to encode all SC animations (such as portraits and videos). In order to access the animations, you will first need to extract the .smk files from the StarDat and BroodDat mpq files using an MPQ extractor (one is conveniently found on this site!). After they have been extracted, simply open them up with this program, and you can then save the animations as windows video, or as JPEG, BMP, or even GIF files!
