The Clan Scag website has moved to a new host. Our old server was having problems left and right, so we jumped ship to a new hosting provider. Hopefully downtime will be limited on this new host.

BannedScag reporting in here, from now on I will use the handle "Nando" on Starcraft II's updated Battle.net 2.0.

Today is the release date for Starcraft II, and if you don't have it yet, WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR SOLDIER?! I installed earlier today and I'm proud to report so far it is every bit as epic as everyone hoped it would be.

We'll see if we can stir up some interest in SCAG again now that SC2 is out, see you all on Battle.net!

Happy 9th anniversay to SCAG! Maybe with SC2 coming out, we will soon be able to get some active members again! I've personally played the beta, and rest assured, it's every bit as good (and even BETTTER) than the original!

An official release date for StarCraft II has been announced! July 27, 2010! Let's hope Blizzard can stick to their schedule and that it can release in time. In the meantime, myself and various other SCAGs have been playing the SC2 beta, and I'm proud to report it's every bit as good as the original StarCraft!

Happy 8th birthday to SCAG! Our clan turns 8 years old today. It's been a great eight years playing Starcraft. We wish you all a good game on Battle net as we await the arrival of Starcraft 2.

Blizzard has enabled the Warden anti-cheat system on Warcraft III, this means that our Clan bot (a War3 bot) can no longer stay connected to Battle.net for longer than 2 minutes at a time. =(

Our bot used to be a SC bot, but when Warden was activated on SC we had to migrate to War3, and now that it's activated on War3, we are up shit's creek. Hopefully StealthBot will release a new version soon, but the outlook is grim, as they have been working on their latest version for YEARS =(

I will try to find a workaround, but don't get your hopes up!

I have been able to regain access to the Scag account, and therefore we now have no need to move to a new channel. Huzzah!

NOTICE: Our usual channel on Battle.Net, Op Scag, has been compromised. Someone with too much time on their hands has registered the SC/BW account for Scag after we accidentally let it lapse and expire. Because of this, this rouge account now has ops in the "Op Scag" channel. If this causes too much trouble in the future, we will move to channel "Op ClanScag"

Modified the screenshot archive to use Lightbox 2.0. This kickass javascript library allows images to be displayed to the user in a floating frame while the background of the page is grayed out. You can navigate to the next image from within the frame, and you can even use the left, right, and esc keys to navigate too! Check it out on the screenshots page!

Performed an overhaul of the behind-the-scenes code that runs the site. You really shouldn't notice any major changes, but the site should now run a little smoother on the server, and the source code is now a little easier to read (and therefore change in the future as the clan evolves).
